Apr 17, 2013 10:51 PM EDT

The Eastern Conference is settled and here are the playoff matchups as they have wrapped up and finished their games as the NBA Standings are complete and they have played their final regular same of the 2013 season.

As expected, the No. 1 seeded Miami Heat will face the No. 8 Milwaukee Bucks who comes into the playoffs with the worst record of the 16 teams. The No. 4 Brooklyn Nets will get the tough No. 5 Chicago Bulls. The good news for the Nets, though they lost the season series 1-3, the Bulls are scuffling at the end of the season, which can give the Nets an advantage. The No. 2 New York Knicks get the No. 7 Boston Celtics while the No. 3 Indiana Pacers take on No. 6 Atlanta Hawks

Over in the West, the Los Angeles Lakers are in the playoffs following a Utah Jazz loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. Still left to be settled are the West matchups. The Lakers are playing the Houston Rockets, who are currently ranked No. 7 in the standings. If the Lakers beat them, they take the No. 7 seed, bumping the Rockets down to No. 8 in the West.

The Top 3 seeds are settled, it's the Oklahoma City Thunder, San Antonio Spurs and Denver Nuggets in that specific order. What they need now is their opponents. It looks as if the Los Angeles Clippers will face the Grizzlies as they might finish in fourth and fifth seed, but the winner of the fourth seed gets home court advantage in the first round. The Golden State Warriors are currently the No. 6 ranked team in the West rounding up the standings.
