Adam Scott is king of Australia after winning the Masters at Augusta National and after taking home his first major rumors said that he was being pursued to be on "The Bachelor" by television executives, but the new major champion put that to rest on Wednesday.
According to Yahoo Sports, Scott appeared on "CBS This Morning" and spoke about the win at the Masters, as well as the heap of female attention he has received for being the champion as a strapping, young Aussie. Scott said he was in a relationship with a Swedish architect named Marie Kojzar and that they have been dating for a few years after first starting in 2001.
The report says that she is 31-years-old and there was a picture of her kissing Scott following his win at the Scandinavian Masters in 2003. Now he has a real "Masters" title to go along with that one. Scott has been in a high profile relationship in the past with tennis star Ana Ivanovic and the report says that Scott met Kojzar while she was working as an au pair for golfer Thomas Bjorn, which was a similar way that Tiger Woods met his former wife.
Since Scott has a long-term girlfriend he won't be appearing on the Bachelor and now he has another major to look forward to as the US Open is in June. Scott became the first Australian to win a green jacket after topping the Masters on Sunday over Angel Cabrera in two playoff holes, erasing past memories of collapsing at Augusta and at the British Open.
Scott went into the clubhouse after shooting a nine under and he had to watch as Cabrera hit an amazing approach shot on the 18th hole before converting his putt to send it into a playoff. After the two hit near identical shots on 18 and made their putts, Cabrera could not make his birdie on the 10th, leaving Scott to putt for the win, which he did with his belly club.
