Oklahoma City Thunder Playoff Schedule: TV- Where to Watch, Date and Game Time Against Houston Rockets

Apr 18, 2013 01:22 PM EDT

The Oklahoma City Thunder are in the playoffs and many expect them to make it to the 2013 NBA Finals. Sorry to the superstitious OKC fans, but it's true. The Thunder are the immediate favorite to take the Western Conference championship. First, they have to get past the Houston Rockets. Check out their schedule with TV channel, time and date as they see one of their own in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

If only James Harden would have a better cast of players, then the "poetic justice" claims could be made. However, the Rockets still have some growing to do, yet, they prove a deadly matchup with talented players that have nothing to lose. Before we continue, set these dates aside as the NBA Playoffs begin for the Thunder and Rockets on Sunday.

Game 1- Sunday, Apr. 21 @9:30 p.m. ET TV- TNT

Game 2- Wednesday, Apr. 24 @7 p.m. ET TNT

Game 3- Saturday, Apr. 27 @9:30 p.m. ET ESPN

Apparently, organizers thought it was a best of five as these are the only matchups with game and airing times. However, Games 4-7 will be played on these dates:

Game 4 Monday Apr. 29, Game 5 Wednesday, May 1, Game 6 Friday May 3, Game 7 Sunday, May 5

This one shouldn't be much of a fight for Kevin Durant and the gang as they won the season series 2-1, and almost made it 3-0 had Harden not played his heart out in the final game of the series. The Thunder have the sour taste of defeat in their mouths following their 2012 loss to the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals. They have improved rapidly year after year and now the only thing left, as they have a pretty young and talented core, is to win the championship.
