The Boston marathon suspect Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev that is reportedly holed up in a house and surrounded by police had an active Twitter account and used the name @J_tsar and "Jahar" which he used since friends could not pronounce his name right, according to Gawker.com.
The Gawker report shows some twitter use by "suspect no. 2" in the marathon bombings, the brother of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, who was killed by police in a shootout in Watertown on Thursday night. On the day of the bombing he tweeted: "Ain't no love in the heart of the city, stay safe people."
He once wrote last year, "so much hate i need a ak" but many of the tweets were normal in nature, with him writing about moving to America, his Chechen roots as well as music and other topics like his lifeguard job during the summer. He wrote: "a decade in america already, i want out" and also said he was proud to be from Checnya.
About lifeguarding: "i didn't become a lifeguard to just chill and get paid, i do it for the people, saving lives brings me joy #lifeguardoftheyear"
He also wrote about 9/11 and may have been a truther: "Idk why it's hard for many of you to accept that 9/11 was an inside job, I mean I guess fuck the facts y'all are some real #patriots #gethip"
Another user under "Trippin No L' 4/20" was apparently friends with him and said he was shocked: "I can't believe this jizz was a cool cat at my crib daily- this shit is to wild for me- guess you really don't kno niggas nowadays."
Another wrote that he didn't think he was a suspect, writing: "Anyone who believes this BULLLSHITT about Jahar is Fuckinnnnn cooked. He's the last dude to be harming anyone or anything."
A user under @ChinksMcGee mentioned his weed use, writing: "I never would have thought that someone that smoked as much weed as Jahar would be on the News for terrorism."
