The Blues, who seem to be on a roll under temporary manager Roberto Di Matteo, claimed a comfortable 5-2 victory against Leicester City, making their way into the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

Chelsea, who were looking very confident, managed two early strikes via Gary Cahill and Salomon Kalou in the 12th and 17th minute respectively. More goals followed in the second half via Spanish striker Fernando Torres, who finally ended his five-month goal drought when he found the net in the 67th and 85th minute.

The icing on the cake was delivered by Portuguese midfielder Raul Meireles, in the 90th minute, crushing Leicester City hopes of reaching Wembley. They only managed two consolation goals, via Jermaine Beckford and Ben Marshall, in the 77th and 88th minutes, respectively.
