Welcome to the live blog of the Nets vs. Bulls!

The Brooklyn Nets take on the Chicago Bulls in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals at 8 p.m. ET. Can't watch the game, join us for the live blog with scoring updates, play-by-play and commentary of this playoff meeting as the Nets look to take a 2-0 lead in the series.

The Bulls are hurt. That's the main thing holding them back from having any remote chance of advancing further into the playoffs. They scuffled towards the end of the season. Carlos Boozer did his best in Game 1, but he was the only Bull who had any success in the game. Boozer led the team in scoring with 25 points, rebounding with eight boards and finished with four assists. Had Boozer gotten a block on Saturday, then he would have tied for the team high in that category as well.

For the Nets, it was the use of Deron Williams and Brook Lopez that propelled them to a 106-89 victory. Lopez and Williams combined to score 43 points and Lopez continued to have his presence felt on the defense as he finished with three blocks in the game.

Joakim Noah is injured. Derrick Rose hasn't touched the ball all year long. The Bulls lack talent to keep up with the Nets players. Even Reggie Evans is getting his way as he grabbed 13 rebounds for the Nets in Game 1. The Nets also received great play from their bench as C.J. Watson and Andray Blanche added 26 points.

If I were the Bulls, though he's inconsistent, stating Nate Robinson wouldn't be a bad idea. He can score and create the havoc the Bulls need on offense. He can open up lanes for Boozer to become even more effective. However, as we saw Saturday, Robinson also lacks some logic at times as he becomes more of a troublemaker and becomes focused on personal vendettas, taking away from his game.
