Royal Challengers Bangalore will be the overwhelming favorites when they take on struggling Pune Warriors in their IPL 2013 game at the Chinnaswamy Stadium Tuesday.
RCB have been in stellar form this season, winning five of their seven games so far - all of them at home -- with the likes of Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers looking almost unstoppable with the bat.
After the Warriors lost to Kings XI Punjab in agonizing circumstances, despite posting a huge total of 185, the Alan Donald-coached side will have to play out of their skins and hope that RCB, who are yet to lose in Bangalore in IPL 2013, have an off day.
RCB opener Tillkaratne Dilshan said his team are ready to take full advantage of playing at home and make it six out of six wins.
"Yes, we definitely know the conditions much better than other teams," the Sri Lankan told reporters. "We have played a lot of games and we know how to adjust batting on this wicket. We are also playing good cricket in all departments. That's why we are winning."
Dilshan hinted that RCB would most probably stick with the same side that won so convincingly against the Royals on Sunday.
"After the first two games, I got injured and had to rest for 10 days," he added. "We tried another opener, but I had to come back into the side. The middle order is just strong and Saurabh Tiwary, another left-hander, has come back strengthening it further.
"Otherwise, we have one left-hander at the top (Chris Gayle). So, I doubt there will be any changes for the Tuesday contest."
After the Warriors game, RCB hit the road for the next few matches, and Dilshan is confident of continuing the momentum. "Our first aim is to win the match tomorrow (Tuesday)," he said. "To get to 12 points and finish at the top of the table before we embark on away matches.
"We are playing away from home for the next 15 -20 days and we need to adjust to their conditions as soon as possible. That is the main task at our hands. We have lot of experience players and I think they can adjust quickly to those conditions and if we play good cricket, we can beat any side in any condition."
