The Atlanta Braves look to sweep and Tim Hudson looks to make history as he pitches for his 200th win of his career against the Colorado Rockies as first pitch is scheduled for 3:10 p.m. ET. Check out the live stream of this game as the Braves look to build on their double-header sweep on Tuesday.
The Braves took both games 4-3 and 10-2 as they regained a hold of the best record in baseball. They are 15-5 in 2013, while they dropped the Rockies to a tie for second with a 13-7 record.
On the mound trying to prevent a sweep of his team, Tyler Chatwood. He's yet to make a start in the major leagues this season, but in 2012 he posted a 5-6 record with a 5.43 ERA in 12 starts. They hope he can duplicate some of his magic from Triple-A. In three starts, Chatwood went 1-0 with a 1.84 ERA. Those numbers translate to three earned runs over 19.2 innings pitched.
Meanwhile, his opposition, the veteran Hudson, looks to win his 200th game of his career against the Rockies. He is 5-2 against the Rockies and looks to add another victory against them in his resume. However, Hudson might have been a bit nervous in last start against the Pittsburgh Pirates as they walloped him for six runs in four innings. He was coming off great starts against the Chicago Cubs and Washington Nationals where he only game up two earned runs combined.
Look for guys like Dexter Fowler, who's hitting .455 in 11 career at-bats off the right-hander, to set the pace for the Rockies today if they are to win this game and avoid watching Hudson reach a milestone in their stomping grounds.
