In a story that could have been on an episode of "Law and Order", Cleveland Browns outside linebacker Quentin Groves has been picked up in a prostitution sting in Cleveland and was arrested in March for solicitation.
According to Yahoo Sports, Groves was taken and arrested in a three-day sting operation for solicitation after trying to pick up a prostitute that was actually in disguise and was a cop. The report says that Groves responded to a sex ad and agreed to pay before heading to the location at Homestead Guest Studios in Beachwood and he then asked for "full service" from an undercover police officer. He reportedly asked for "anal sex" according to Deadspin.com and was then met by multiple officers.
Groves has bounced around the NFL since being drafted by the Jaguars and he has played for four teams in six NFL seasons, including the Raiders and Buccaneers. Groves had $195.70 and a box of condoms according to the report and he will appear in court on May 10 about the chargers while 14 others were also arrested. Groves recently signed a two-year, $2.8 million contract after playing for the Cardinals and was a former second round pick by Jacksonville and he also played for the Raiders. Groves was at Cleveland's mini-camp last week and will need to appear in court in a couple weeks.
The police report stated: "He agreed to one hour of time for 100.00 and was told that anal would be an additional 20.00."
