The Boston Celtics host the New York Knicks in Game 3 at the TD Garden with tipoff a little after 8 p.m. ET. The Knicks are up in the series 2-0. Now, for those of you who can't watch the game, listen to it live in the link provided as ESPN Radio brings you evening NBA playoff action to your ears.

Kevin Garnett sounds like he's ready to lead his Celtics to victory: "I'm looking forward to tomorrow, being home, back in Beantown. Very much so. We haven't been home since all the current events and everything. So, yes, we're anticipating it being very emotional, very inspiring, and we're looking forward to coming out and trying to get this Game 3."

Much talk has revolved around the idead that the Celtics are playing for rewards beyond the game. In fact, they want to win to help all of those affected by the Boston Marathon bombing from last Monday. This is their first time back in town playing in front of the home crowd since the incidents.

If Garnett wants to bring relief to Celtics fans, then he has to play a bigger role in the team's offense. He's totaled just 20 points through the first two games. He's making great contributions on the boards as he's averaging 10 boards per game. Paul Pierce doesn't look like he's 35 on offense, but when guarding the Knicks' premier All-Star, Carmelo Anthony, Pierce's age immediatly shows.

So far in this series, the Celtis haven't found an answer for Anthony. He's breezed by Pierce and dunked right next to Garnett. Melo has scored 70 points on the Celtics in the first two games of this season.

One thing the Celtics have been able to do successfully so far in the playoffs is shoot free throws. This is a good sign for them, but in order to get to the line, they have to do way more penetrating to the hoop.
