Michael Jordan Married His Longtime Model Girlfriend Yvette Prieto During Lavish Ceremony In Palm Beach

NBA legend Michael Jordan made it official when he finally married his longtime model girlfriend Yvette Prieto, of five years, during a lavish ceremony in Palm Beach, Fla.

People Magazine is reporting that the couple made their union official over the weekend in front of 500 witnesses at Episcopal church Bethesda-by-the Sea, the same location where Donald Trump married his wife Melania in 2005.

The couple was later joined by 1,500 guest who joined them for the reception at the Bears Club , a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course community in Jupiter, Fla., where Jordan recently built a 38,000-square-foot home.

Jordan, 50, proposed to Prieto, 35, over the Christmas holidays in 2011.

This is Jordan's second marriage since splitting from his wife of 17 years, Juanita, in 2006 in what Forbes called the costliest divorce ever. He has two sons and one daughter from that marriage.

It wasn't hard for Jordan to schedule this wedding, especially being that his Charlotte Bobcats were the second-worst team in the league this season.

Jordan, now majority owner of the Bobcats, watched his team struggle to a disappointing 21-61 record this season, and now has plenty of work on his hands to improve their roster this offseason and make them appear as if their a legit NBA team.

Good luck MJ.
