On paper, Arsenal's trip to already relegated Queens Park Rangers should be one of the easiest games of the English Premier League season; but then Arsenal do have this rather frustrating habit of making matters more difficult than it needs to be.
The Gunners were brilliant in the first 40 minutes against Manchester United at the Emirates, and then a couple of seconds of madness from Bacary Sagna led to the home side eventually battling for just a draw.
The four games before that haven't been easy either, even when the majority of them should have been.
Arsenal laboured to a 1-0 win over Fulham, despite the Cottagers being down to ten men for much of the game.
The goalless draw against Everton was hard-fought and physical, but Arsenal again had more than enough chances to take all three points, while games against Norwich and West Brom went right down to the wire.
The positive amidst all this is the fact that the Gunners have come unscathed and are unbeaten in seven Premier League games.
That sees Arsenal in fourth on 65 points, one behind Chelsea and two ahead of Tottenham. Crucially, though, both Chelsea and Spurs have a game in hand, and there is a chance that even if Arsenal win all their remaining three games - QPR, Wigan and Newcastle - they might not finish in the top four.
Spurs and Chelsea are set to face off in midweek, and if the former wins that game along with the rest, and Chelsea pick up three points in their remaining games, then Arsenal will finish only fifth.
It is a painful scenario that Wenger would have no doubt envisaged. But then, all Arsenal can do is go out and win the rest of their matches, starting with QPR, who have absolutely nothing to play for but pride, having been relegated along with Reading.
With Olivier Giroud suspended, Lukas Podolski is again likely to be given the nod up front, while goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski remains ruled out along with long-term casualty Abou Diaby.
Harry Redknapp is sure to motivate some of his players by telling them this is the perfect platform to showcase your skills against one of the bigger teams in the Premier League.
The likes of Loic Remy, Christopher Samba and Adel Taarabt will look at the game at Loftus Road as an opportunity to prove to Wenger that they might be worth taking a shot at in the summer, although Samba is a doubt with a knee injury. Bobby Zamora, though is back from suspension and is likely to go straight back into the starting lineup.
Arsenal and their fans are desperate for a regulation 3-0 or 4-0 win, after putting their hearts through the wringer in the last couple of games, and QPR represent as good an opportunity as any.
Expected lineups: QPR: Cesar; Fabio, Onuoha, Hill, Traore; Jenas, M'bia, Granero; Remy, Zamora, Townsend.
Arsenal: Szczesny; Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal; Ramsey, Arteta; Walcott, Wilshere, Cazorla; Podolski.
Prediction: 4-1 to Arsenal
