Shaq vs. Barkley Three-Point Shootout on TNT: Watch After Warriors vs. Spurs Game to See Winner

May 07, 2013 12:12 AM EDT

----UPDATE-------- Believe it or not... Shaq sinks the three in his first opportunity. Barkley misses and Shaq breakdances as he celebrates.

The 2013 NBA Playoffs continue as well as Shaquille O'Neal and Charles Barkley's friendly competitions as the TNT Studio in Atlanta will host another battle between these two analysts. Watch it on TNT after the Golden State Warriors vs. San Antonio Spurs game as we will bring you the winner of the shootout.

During the half of the Spurs vs. Warriors, they called the shots. First one to four? No! First one to make it wins.

These two seem have taken their competitive skills and athleticism to the TNT broadcast after Shaq joined the crew about two years ago. They are without a doubt the most entertaining NBA analysts on television as Shaq and Barkley are complemented well by Ernie Johnson and Kenny Smith.

This evening's (or morning depending on here in the world you're watching) showdown will feature one of the worst free throw shooters of his time in Shaq versus a versatile forward in Barkley. Let's look at the numbers.

Barkley made 538 threes in his career, hitting 27 percent of his shots from beyond the arc. As for Shaq, well... He hit 1 of 22 career connecting on less than 5 percent of his threes. As far as free throws, though this isn't a free throw battle, Shaq hit 5,935 of 11,252 while Barkley hit 6,349 of 8,643.

What does this mean? Barkley has the shooting advantage. The only way Shaq can win this is by age playing a role on the results. Shaq is 41, nine years younger that Chuck who just turned 50 earlier in the year.

It's Superman Shaq vs. Big Mouth Charles. Who will win? Tune into TNT and join us for the results.
