The New York Knicks face the Indiana Pacers will they hope they can redeem themselves after losing Game 1. Can't watch the game on TV? Check out the live stream available as the action will be shared by TNT online.
The Knicks looked bad in Game 1. The rest of the team was responsive, expect for Tyson Chandler. Chandler has fallen from his defensive dominant days. Is he injured? Well, he's definitely not 100 percent, like nobody else at this point in the season. Chandler is usually a solid rebounder, but he couldn't even do that. Roy Hibbert took complete advantage of Chandler's defensive inefficiencies. His hook shot was falling scoring 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
One concern for the Knicks is height and Mike Woodson is fairly aware that his Knicks are undersized. However, Woodson has complete faith in his guys and he believes they will be able to battle because they are tough. "The small lineup that we started didn't cost us. And I don't consider Melo a small. You guys might, but I don't," said Knicks head coach Mike Woodson.
The Knicks are expected to win this series and challenge the Miami Heat for the conference finals, where they would match up perfectly. The Knicks aren't a tall team and the Heat, though they have Chris Andersen off the bench, don't really play post-up basketball. The Knicks won three of their four games this meeting, however, the focus now is the Pacers. Lose today and the Knicks will fall 0-2 in the series and Indiana will have a chance to put the series away at home.
