Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas urged his players to keep the faith, after a 2-2 draw against Chelsea in the English Premier League meant the Blues and Arsenal are now in pole position to finish in the top-four come the end of the season.
With Chelsea and Spurs sharing a point, it keeps the former three clear of the latter with just two games remaining, with Arsenal a point ahead of Tottenham.
"It was good for us to get back in the game in the second half, we really increased the tempo and played really, really well," Villas-Boas told Sky Sports.
"Obviously with the point we don't depend on ourselves any more as somebody has to drop points.
"Our focus is on doing our job in these remaining fixtures. In the Premier League, everything can happen, so keep the faith.
"We wanted to win and the feeling is a point is not bad. Our focus is to continue to do our job and, hopefully with the teams that Arsenal and Chelsea have to play, who are fighting for survival, something can happen.
"The Premier League is completely unpredictable. Wigan, they have to go to Arsenal. Chelsea have a difficult game against Aston Villa on Saturday morning, and we have a difficult game at Stoke, who are also fighting.
"The next fixtures before the emotions of the last day of the season can be decisive."
Spurs had Gylfi Sigurdsson to thank for at least salvaging a point, after the Icelandic international scored with ten minutes remaining to make it 2-2. Oscar had put Chelsea ahead at Stamford Bridge, before Emmanuel Adebayor equalized with a stunning goal.
Ramires then made it 2-1 late in the first half, before Sigurdsson's equalizer ensured a share of the spoils.
"The players showed great determination once again," Villas-Boas added. "The example of that determination was when we scored for 2-2, picking the ball up out of the net and coming back to try and win.
"It was difficult conditions for us in the second half because of Chelsea's counter-attacks. We had to do everything we could to get to 2-2 and I'm so pleased we managed to salvage a point.
"It was a pity there wasn't time for 3-2, we had a late chance with Gareth's (Bale) free-kick, but it was a great game of football and we take a point. Let's hope it will be an important point."
