The Golden State Warriors are feeling pretty confident after their Game 2 win against the San Antonio Spurs. The series now switches back to the Oracle Arena where the Warriors hope to use home court to their advantage and gain a series lead on the Western Conference powerhouses.

Throughout the first two games of the series, the Warriors have been the better team, outperforming the Spurs in every statistical category. The Game 1 loss was a fluke and Golden State has the momentum to prove it. Stephen Curry is showing no signs of slowing down from the shooting threat he has been all postseason. With the emergence of Klay Thompson, the Warriors have the most dynamic backcourt right now.

Golden State has held the lead in the second-round series for 95 of 106 minutes. The Spurs advantage in Game 1 came late in overtime after rallying from a 16 point deficit. Outside of that, Golden State has outshot the Spurs 88.3 percent compared to 41.7 percent. San Antonio has also been outrebounded 105 to 93. It was the first time the Warriors have won in San Antonio since 1997.

The series switching back to Golden State could see the Spurs championship dreams slowly slip away. The Warriors are 3-0 at home so far in the postseason. In the two games these teams played in the regular season at Golden State, the Spurs went 0-2. The Warriors are in the playoffs for only the second time in 19 years. The town is thriving off basketball, so the Spurs should expect a very hostile environment.
