NBA Playoff Standings: Spurs Lose, Warriors Tie Series 2-2 Guarantee a Game 6

The Golden State Warriors defeated the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 to tie the series 2-2. With the victory, the Warriors ensure they get to see their fans at home once again. The playoff standings once again shake up as the Spurs are unable to take the dominant 3-1 lead in the series.

The Warriors received a great effort from Jarret Jack and Harrison Barnes, new guys who stepped up as Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson had average performances once again. The Warriors didn't play their best basketball. In fact, they were very sloppy. However, Golden State managed to hang around and stayed within striking distance throughout the game.

Jack had 12 points in the second quarter as he continuously knocked down jumpers in the game. He was also responsible for tying the game in the fourth quarter as he sent this one to overtime, where the Warriors held the Spurs to just one basket.

Barnes held things in check late in the game scoring a team high 26 points in Game 4. Curry disappeared from this game at certain periods, but he made his presence despite playing with a bad ankle. He went 5-10 from three and scored 22 points. One of his biggest plays in overtime, a three-point play that gave the Warriors breathing room as like the Spurs would eventually get their game together and make the Warriors pay after missing opportunities to further their lead.

Following this matchup, here's how the NBA Playoff Standings are looking after Sunday's lone game.

Miami Heat 2-1 Chicago Bulls
New York Knicks 1-2 Indiana Pacers
Oklahoma City Thunder 1-2 Memphis Grizzlies
San Antonio Spurs 2-2 Golden State Warriors

The No. 2 seeds in both conferences are having issues, as a matter of fact all top seeds in the playoffs have had their share of difficulties and challenges. The Bulls are constantly pushing the Heat, while the Thunder doesn't seem capable of winning without another body available to replace Russell Westbrook's production.

The Knicks are disorganized on offense as their half-court game is played freely. Now, the Spurs couldn't get the adequate offense late in the game to get a comfortable lead, nor could they score enough points at the end of regulation to place more pressure on the Warriors.
