The 2013 NBA Playoffs schedule features two games as the Chicago Bulls host the Miami Heat and the Memphis Grizzlies host the Oklahoma City Thunder. Here are the game times as two teams might be in danger if they lose Monday night.
The Heat are up 2-1 on the Bulls. This is probably what many expected, but the Heat have had to work hard against Chicago. The Bulls would not allow the Heat to run away with Game 3 and they stuck around for most of the matchup. LeBron James wasn't dominant and because of this, the Heat depended on unlikely sources to distance themselves from their opponent. Chris Bosh and Norris Cole had the Heat feeling better late in the game. They combined to score 38 points in Game 3. Eventually, James closed things out at the free throw line as the Heat too back command of this series.
Of course, you can expect an all out war between these two teams. This matchup will be physical, technical fouls will be witness and ejections might even take place. So far, it's the Bulls who have been too frustrated to keep their cool. Three Bulls have been ejected in the past to games: Joakim Noah & Taj Gibson in Game 2 and Nazr Mohammed in Game 3.
Game Time: 7 p.m ET
Don't miss tip off where you can witness the animosity between these two teams. Anything can happen in this game, so make sure to tune in as the Heat look to take a 3-1 lead, while the Bulls hope to tie the series before having to go into Miami for Game 5.
Following the Heat/Bulls matchup, Thunder vs. Grizzlies takes a hold of the NBA Playoffs schedule. Marc Gasol has been a force in this series making the Thunder feel his presence in the third quarter where he dropped 12 points. Zach Randolph had an off night, for what seems to be the first time in this year's playoffs. Randolph only scored eight points, but had 10 rebounds.
The Thunder just can't find help for Kevin Durant on offense. Thabo Sefolosha and Kendrick Perkins scored a total of four points in Game 3. Their talents lie on the defensive end of the ball, but with no Russell Westbrook, the Thunder have lacked another decent player who can consistently score game after game. Derek Fisher was brought back to earth following a 19-point Game 2 performance. He only had eight points in Game 3.
The Grizzlies bench outscored the Thunders 29-21, which was almost the difference in the game. The Grizzlies are now 4-0 at home and will look to take a 3-1 lead in the series.
