No Jeremy Lin? No Amare Stoudemire?

The New York Knicks were without 40 percent of the starting lineup on Monday night but still held off the Milwaukee Bucks at Madison Square Garden, 89-80.
Carmelo Anthony picked up the slack for the Knicks, by knocking down eight-of-20 shots from the field, and all 12 of this free throws for a 28-point effort. Anthony also led all players with 12 rebounds.
It was a rough shooting night for the Bucks, who were just 36.5 percent from the field. The Knicks were able to contain Brandon Jennings, who normally gives them fits, by limiting the point guard to just six-of-22 shooting. Monta Ellis converted only two of his 14 shot attempts.
The Knicks were without Lin, who was on the bench with a sore right knee, and Stoudemire, who has a sore back.
New York's next game is on Wednesday when they host the Orlando Magic at the Garden. Both Lin and Stoudemire might be available for that matchup.
The Knicks have won a 7-1 record with Mike Woodson as their head coach.
