Golden State Warriors vs. San Antonio Spurs Score: Live updates, Play-by-Play, Stats, Photos of Game 5

May 14, 2013 09:22 PM EDT

This is the kind of evening it has been.

The Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs play in Game 5 of their second round meeting. Check out live scoring updates with play-by-play and stats from this one as one team will have the dominant 3-2 lead in the series.

The Spurs let one escape as the Warriors got payback in Game 4 after winning in overtime. It was San Antonio who had defeated the Warriors in Game 1's overtime, to take a 1-0 lead in the series. Since then, both teams have traded blows. Right when the Warriors look too strong for the Spurs, San Antonio bounces back with a big win. Just when the Spurs look too dominant, the Warriors fight back to win a game.

Jarret Jack is guiding this team well when their top guys, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are on the bench. Harrinson Barnes is making great contributions in his first season in the NBA and first ever playoff appearance.

The Spurs have to be the favorite in this one because they are at home and they have the more experienced bunch of players. It almost seems like a no-brainer. However, for some reason, the Warriors have been able to outplay the Spurs at the AT&T Center.

The winner of this game can stand just a game away from advancing to the Western Conference Finals. The OKC Thunder are in bad shape against the Memphis Grizzlies, but they still have one of the best shooters in the game as Kevin Durant will do everything in his power to avoid elimination. The Grizzlies are up 3-1. They might be the team either the Spurs or Warriors will face if they can win this series.
