The Chicago Bulls are one game away from seeing their season come to an end but they'll look to avoid that during Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Miami Heat Wednesday night at 7 pm ET.

Guard Derrick Rose was ruled out of Game 5, meaning he can potentially miss the entire season after undergoing ACL surgery on May 12, 2012.

Though he never downplayed rumors that he could return during the playoffs, being down 3-1 to the Heat isn't a promising sign that fans will be seeing him back on the floor anytime soon.

Luol Deng, who's recovering from the effects of a spinal tap surgery, didn't fly with the team to Miami for Game 5. He hasn't played since Game 5 of the first round against the Brooklyn Nets, and chances are his season is done as well.

Guard Kirk Hinrich is "most likely" out, according to coach Tom Thibodeau, as he is still recovering from a calf injury he endured in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference first round.

Meanwhile, Miami's Dwyane Wade will be a game-time decision in Game 5 after participating in Wednesday morning's shootaround.

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra provided an update on Wade's status Wednesday and had this to say:

"He had a very good day [Tuesday] and a good shootaround," Spoelstra said. "We'll evaluate him before the game and go from there."
