Memphis Grizzles vs. Oklahoma City Thunder Score: Updates with Coverage of Game 5

May 15, 2013 09:17 PM EDT

The Memphis Grizzlies can lock up the second round series against the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 5. Tip off is at 9:30 p.m. ET and this might be the Thunder's last game of the year if they don't find a way to help Kevin Durant. Find out how you can keep track of the game if you can't watch the live action.

Durant has been doing it all for his Thunder, but nowadays, with all these Big Threes around the league, we have come to find out that one guy can't simply lead a team far into the playoffs. The Grizzlies aren't stacked with superstars, but they have guys who can do certain things pretty well. We are continuously priviledged to watch the Grizzlies in the playoffs since the Heat and Los Angeles Lakers get most their games on primetime. Marc Gasol, Zach Randolph and Mike Conley are guiding this team to victory.

The Thunder's big men, Kendrick Perkins and Serge Ibaka have been ineffective. In comparsion to Gasol and Randolph, they look like mediocre centers and power fowards. Ibaka hasn't made his presence on offense, which is another reason why the Thunder are losing in this series. Suddenly, trading James Harden looks like a very poor move and it was something I predicted as soon as the move went down. The Thunder were dumb for making the trade. Why break something that needs no fixing?

The Thunder will have three more chance to get to the Western Conference Finals, but they have to win tonight or ele they will be gone. They need Kevin Martin to help off the bench and Ibaka has to show something on the offensive end and hit his sweet jumpers. If not, the Thunder will be done.
