It's the New York Knicks vs. the Indiana Pacers in Game 5 of their series. The Knicks are one game away from their season ending while the Pacers are one game away from winning the series. We treat you to the live blog of this game for those who can't watch or listen to the game online.
The most recent good news for the Knicks is that they are playing home. Tyson Chandler thinks the Knicks play their best basketball when they are threatened. The better news is that George Hill will not be active and he is one Pacer who has threatened the Knicks repeatedly in this series, most recently scoring 26 points in Game 4.
Everybody knows J.R. Smith is struggling while Carmelo Anthony hasn't been the top notch scorer in this series. The Knicks are cold and because of this they will be playing shooters like Chris Copeland and Steve Novak who can pressure the Pacers from the three-point line.
The Knicks have questions to answer if they are to win this one. Can they stop Roy Hibbert in the paint? Can the Knicks pick up more second chance opportunities? Once again, this is the difference in the games, the team winning the offensive boards has won the game and unfortunately for the Knicks they have only done it once.
The Pacers have all the momentum in the series. Can the Knicks fans help disrupt that and power their team to victory?
