Though he's currently without an NFL team, Tim Tebow has remained in the news as he searches for a new team call home.
Tebow has had a rough going as no NFL team has shown interest in signing the former Heisman Trophpy winner since being cut from the New York Jets last month. Still, he has remained to stay in the controversy and debate on the Jacksonville Jaguars' decision to not sign him.
Fans have gone as far to form a petition to the White House asking President Obama to tell the Jaguars to sign him. According to the Jacksonville Times-Union, Orlando-based attorney John Morgan ran a radio ad in Jacksonville urging the Jaguars to bring Jacksonville's "native son" back home.
Morgan on why the Jaguars should sign Tebow:
"I don't pretend to be a football expert. Far from it. But as long as somebody never loses, I'm going to keep letting him play.''
However, 10 days ago a group of fans called the Bold City Brigade started a website 10 days ago called evenifhesreleased.com, asking fans to support "real Jaguars fans" to insist that the Jaguars do not need sign Tebow.
President and founder of the website, John Caputo, said that the site was entitled to be a scientific sample to get fans to say they support the team with or without Tebow.
"We wanted to have our voices heard,'' Caputo said.
Though the website proved to be controversial, it seems to have gotten the debate in Jacksonville brewing even further.
