NBA Draft Lottery Live Stream: Watch Free Online as Teams Draft Order Will Be Picked

May 21, 2013 08:12 PM EDT

We'll find out who will get the No. 1 pick of the 2013 NBA Draft as the lottery will take place live today at 8:30 p.m. ET right before the Western Conference Final's Game 2. Here are the top choices in this year's 2013 NBA Lottery.

Who are the teams with the highest chances of snatching the No. 1 pick?

The Orlando Magic are this year's favorite to rack up the top pick of the 2013 NBA Draft. They finished this past year with the worst record in the NBA at 20-62. They finished the season with a 2-8 record and having lost three straight games. The Magic are still trying to recover from the loss of Dwight Howard. The horrible season was expected as they had guys that didn't possess much NBA experience or success in the league.

Following the Magic's 25 percent chance of winning the first pick, the Charlotte Bobcats, who finished the season with a 21-61 record, have a 19.9 percent of taking the first pick home with them. It was another disappointing year for the Bobcats, who will go under a name change and once again become the Charlotte Hornets. The name change will likely not make a difference unless the team makes smarter decisions in the drafts.

Third are the Cleveland Cavaliers with a 15.6 percent chance of getting No. 1. They won the draft lottery in 2011 when they snatched up Kyrie Irving, one of the top talents in the league. At 24-58. the Cavaliers are still trying to recover from the loss of their superstar LeBron James after he decided a chase for the championship was more important and took his talents to South Beach.

The Phoenix Suns follow in fourth place with an 11.9 percent chance of winning the lottery, followed in fifth place by the New Orleans Pelicans who have an 8.8 percent chance of snatching the first pick. If they win the lottery in 2013, they will have consecutive No. 1 draft picks as they won the draft last season and took Anthony Davis with their pick.

Last season, New Orleans was the second favorite, as the Bobcats were in first place. So just because your percentage is higher, doesn't mean you are guaranteed the top pick of the draft. The league does it this way just in case a team decides to bomb the end of their season in order to get the first pick of the draft.
