NBA News And Rumors: Cleveland Cavaliers Win Draft Lottery, Will Pursue A Trade For The No.1 Overall Pick

For the second time in three years the Cleveland Cavaliers have once again obtained the No.1 overall draft pick after winning this year's NBA Draft Selection Lottery on Tuesday night.

The Cavaliers entered the lottery with the third-worst record in the NBA, but bumped the Orlando Magic and Charlotte Hornets out of contention to earn the No.1 overall pick for the third time in their history. The Magic took the second pick and the Washington Wizards jumped from eighth to third.

The Cavaliers won the lottery in 2005, taking LeBron James, and again in 2011, taking Kyrie Irving. In all likelihood, this year's No.1 pick is expected to be Kentucky big man Nerlens Noel, despite coming off a torn ACL that will keep him sidelined until Christmas.

However, the Cavaliers have been reported to be considering a trade for their No.1 overall pick being that their looking to improve fast, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst Twitter page.
