Dwight Howard Rumors: All-Star Center Will Consider The Atlanta Hawks And Golden State Warriors During His Free Agency?

Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard has much to consider during the off season as he enters free agency. With teams like the Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks as leading competitors, there's no telling where he'll end up.

However, according to the Los Angeles Daily News, Howard will also consider the Atlanta Hawks and Golden State Warriors as suitors for his talents.

According to sources with knowledge of Howard's thinking, nothing remains binding and his main concern involves "what team he feels has the best chance to win championships, has the best team and system around him." The source also stressed Howard has not and will not ask the Lakers to make any moves on his behalf.

Howard made his seventh All-Star appearance this season, but his 17.1 points per game were his lowest average since his second season in the league, his 12.4 rebounds were his lowest since his third season, and his 49.2 percent mark from the foul line represented the second straight season he's shot less than 50 percent from the charity stripe.

As a free agent Howard can sign a five-year, $118 million contract to stay with the Lakers, or a four-year, $87.6 million deal with another team.

The "Dwightmare" continues on and is growing each day with each new rumor. Howard has a lot to consider as the rest of the world awaits his decision.
