The Dallas Cowboys will begin their second week of organized activities Tuesday without running back DeMarco Murray as he continues his rehab work on his injured hamstring.
ESPNDallas.com reported Tuesday that the third-year back will miss at least part of organized team activates this week with a hamstring injury, after coach Jason Garrett called the injury "minor" last week.
Murray didn't practice last week because of the injury, but Garrett said the hope is that he'll be able to return on the field sometime this week.
Murray missed nine games in two seasons due to various leg injuries. After letting ex-back Felix Jones go during the offseason, the Cowboys go into the year with Murray, fifth-rounder Joseph Randle and not much else at the running back position.
Linebacker Justin Durant (hamstring) and defensive end Sean Lissemore (groin) are expected to do some in-practice work after sitting out last week. Safety Jakar Hamilton (hamstring) is also expected to continue his rehab. Wide receiver Danny Coale took part in individual drills as he rehabs from a torn anterior cruciate ligament suffered late last season but did not take part in 11-on-11 work.
