NBA Finals Schedule Helps San Antonio Spurs Against Miami Heat or Indiana Pacers As Series 2-1 With Game 4 On Tuesday Night at 8:30 PM ET

May 28, 2013 02:00 PM EDT

The San Antonio Spurs swept out the Memphis Grizzlies in the Western conference finals on Monday night on Memorial Day, winning 93-86 in a tough Game 4 to win the series 4-0 and advance to the NBA finals and they will play either the Miami Heat or the Indiana Pacers out of the East.

The team was strong in the second half after taking a big first quarter lead and like the rest of the series, Tony Parker was clutch for the team, scoring 37 points to lead the way. Tim Duncan led the Spurs in rebounding again with eight in the game and the team able to hold on for the victory to get the first sweep in a number of years, while the Grizzlies finished their best season in franchise history with sour taste after losing four straight.

The Grizzlies won 56 games and made it to the West finals for the first time in team history and the team lost after getting 22 points from Quincy Pondexter and seven assists from Mike Conley. Parker got hit in the eye at one point and went back to the locker room, but after he returned to the game he continued to shoot well and finished with 37 points while missing just six shots all night and making all six shots from the free throw line. Duncan has been amazing this postseason and he continued to play strong down the stretch as the Grizzlies tried to mount a comeback.

The Spurs are going to the finals for the first time since 2007 and have won six straight games and could end up with a matchup against LeBron James, who was on the Cavs in the finals in 2007.
