Barcelona will look to match Real Madrid's points record when they take on Malaga in their final game of the La Liga season.

Having secured the title already, Barca will be keen to finish the season on a high and with another record added to their kitty.

The Spanish champions are currently on 97 points and can equal the 100-point record set by Real Madrid when they won the title last season.

However, the match will also be remembered as Eric Abidal's last game for Barca after the club and the player confirmed his contract would not be renewed.

"I feel terrible about it," Barcelona manager Tito Vilanova said. "We know that we won't find a left-footed centre back with his characteristics, we know that his case is exceptional. I hope he goes to a big club and that he gets the chance to show that he's able to play at the highest level.

Vilanova confirmed Abidal would be involved in the game on Saturday, which will also see Manuel Pellegrini manage his last game for Malaga before taking over at Manchester City.

The Barcelona coach also spoke about their new signing Neymar, who he expects to make a big impact come next season.

"He's a player who can play in different positions, not only on the left wing," Vilanova added. "He can also play behind the center forward. We think he'll adjust nicely, he's a very talented player.

"He helps the team defend and tactically we'll help him adapt to Spanish and European football. We should remember that all the big European teams wanted him and we are certain that he'll perform at a high level. He can score goals, and that's something we need."

Barcelona are again likely to be without talisman Lionel Messi, while Carles Puyol remains sidelined with a knee injury.

Pellegrini, in his last game, is expected to be without Carlos Kameni and Manuel Iturra are also expected to miss out, while Martin Demichelis is a doubt.
