Heat vs. Pacers Schedule and Prediction: Miami Wins NBA Playoffs Game 7 Against Indiana To Face San Antonio Spurs In Finals, LeBron James Leads The Way Over Paul George

Jun 03, 2013 10:41 AM EDT

The Miami Heat at a 3-2 series lead heading into Game 6 on Saturday night in Indiana, but the matchup was all Pacers by the time things ended and now the team must win at home in Game 7 just to make it back to the NBA Finals for the third straight season to take on the San Antonio Spurs.

LeBron James and the Heat were fantastic in the third quarter of Game 5 and completely dominated the Pacers, but in Game 6 it was Indiana who dominated, outscoring Miami 29-15 after Miami outscored them 30-13 in the previous game. James had no answers this time after scoring or assisting on 25 points in that quarter and Paul George was able to dominate his counterpart.

The Game 6 win 91-77 for the Pacers was one of their best performances all season and George ended up leading the team with 28 points, while David West added 14 rebounds and George Hill had six assists in the game. James led Miami in scoring with 29 points and added six assists while Joel Anthony had 29 rebounds, but the supporting cast was nowhere to be found and James will need more help in Game 7 for any chance of Miami winning. The Heat have played well in these matchups before, but with Dwyane Wade hobbled and Chris Bosh not playing up to his talent, it will be totally up to James to will the team to a win on Monday night.

Roy Hibbert was key despite his comments after the game and ended up with 24 points and 11 rebounds and one huge play on James at the end. Hibbert had lots of support from George Hill and David West and if the Pacers can play the same way on Monday there is a good chance they will make it to the finals.

Prediction: Miami wins a close one.
