NBA Finals Date and Time for All Games, Schedule Starts Thursday, Game 1 Miami Heat vs. San Antonio Spurs

Jun 04, 2013 12:42 AM EDT

The Miami Heat and The San Antonio Spurs have completed the playoff picture as they are set to meet in the 2013 NBA Finals. Now that we know the matchups, here is the time for Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

The Heat were taken to Game 7 by the Indiana Pacers as the No. 1 seed had trouble with the No. 3 seed in the East. The Heat looked short, slow and overconfident in certain points of the series. Never mind that they have the best player in the world, LeBron James' efforts were looking futile as the Pacers' big man, Roy Hibbert was controling the paint. David West and Paul George's physicality were tough to match and Heat coach, Erik Spoelstra was forced to mix and match with his lineups.

Eventually, in Game 7, the Heat proved they were the dominant team. Dwyane Wade stepped up big time dropping 21 points after many thought he was one and done for. The Heat played like the Pacers controlling the rebounds and took advantage of the Pacers' vulnerability to turning the ball over. The Pacers were winning in the first quarter 21-19 despite turning the ball over eight times. However, once the Heat got their groove, it was over.

Here's what we know so far about the Heat vs. Spurs NBA Finals series:

Game 1 Thursday in Miami @9 p.m. ET
Game 2 Sunday in Miami @8 p.m. ET
Game 3 Tuesday in San Antonio @9 p.m. ET
Game 4 Thursday in San Antonio @ 9 p.m. ET
Game 5 Sunday in San Antonio @8 p.m. ET
Game 6 Tuesday inMiami  @9 p.m. ET
Game 7 Thursday in Miami @9 p.m. ET

The Spurs have been relaxing since they defeated the Memphis Grizzlies on May 27. Game 1 is on a Thursday, so that will once again mean the Spurs will have over 10 days to rest. They came out sluggish against the Golden State Warriors in the second round after sweeping the Los Angeles Lakers. It will be interesting to see how they adjust to what the Heat throw at them.

Without a doubt, these will be the toughest teams each of these guys have faced in the playoffs.
