The NBA Finals are getting ready to begin on Thursday night and with press meeting with players and coaches heading into the game, just like the Super Bowl, a number of interesting anecdotes have come out about it, including one involving Chris Andersen and former Utah Jazz head coach Jerry Sloan.

According to Pro Basketball Talk, Sloan was once playing the Denver Nuggets while Andersen was on the team and after losing to the team by 14 points, Sloan heard some players mocking his tattoos, which weren't quite as prominent as they are now. Sloan responded that he wished they played as hard as he did in the game, which saw the Nuggets win and Birdman hit five of seven shots with seven rebounds and three blocked shots. Although his tattoos were not as crazy yet, including the Free Bird one, Sloan responded: "I wish ONE of you guys played as hard as him!" Sloan shouted.

Sloan is rumored to be getting back in the league with either the Jazz or another team, while Andersen showed that he is a valuable piece to the Heat winning a championship. The team didn't win without him in Game 6 and he made some important plays in Game 7 against the Pacers.
