Miami Heat vs. San Antonio Spurs TV Schedule: Channel, Date & Time of Game 5 of NBA Finals

Jun 14, 2013 01:52 AM EDT

The series is tied 2-2, meaning you will not want to miss Game 5 as the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs try to take a definitive lead in the 2013 NBA Finals series. Check out the TV schedule with game time and date as the series will come down to the final three games of te series.

The Heat finally found some answers for the Spurs attack. Both squads are now exchanging blows. First, the Spurs took Game 1, the closest game of the series. 92-88. Tony Parker and Tim Duncan ruled the courts that evening despite LeBron James grabbing a triple double. Game 2 saw the Heat dominate on both sides of the floor while Game 3 provided unsung hero, Gary Neal an opportunity to step up and steal the show with his 24 points and six threes. Finally, Game 4 gave way for the Heat's Big 3 as Dwyane Wade proved unstoppable.

We have Games 5, 6 & 7 remaining. Will we see any of these previous occurrences repeat themselves or will a new player rise to the occasion and steal the show in the NBA Finals? Though the Heat have the momentum, the Spurs will be playing at home at AT&T Center for the last time in the season. The last thing a veteran club like the Spurs will do is let a home game slip away. Their Game 4 loss was only their second defeat at home as the Spurs have punished the opposition in their home court.

For Miami, we have seen them play their best and worst basketball of the year in this series alone. How consistent can they be and can they find support from anybody aside from Chris Bosh and Ray Allen? Erik Spoelstra gave Mike Miller a chance to start over Udonis Haslem, but it didn't have much of an affect in the game.

Date: Sunday, June 16

Aside from avoiding the 1-3 hole, Game 4 guaranteed the Heat a trip back home to Miami. The Heat have played well when trailing in series dating back to last season, when they came back to beat the Indiana Pacers from 1-2 and the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Semifinals after being down 2-3.
