NBA Playoff Standings 2013: Heat Win Back-To-Back Titles, Is This A Dynasty In The Making?

A full NBA season since winning their first title together since the formation of the Big Three, LeBron James and the rest of the Miami Heat won their second consecutive title after a 95-88 victory over the San Antonio Spurs Thursday night.

After two years of almost constant basketball, James scored 37 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and controlled the stretch as he led the Heat to a victory, as well has receiving his second consecutive NBA Finals MVP.

"Listen, I can't worry about what everybody says about me," James said, as confetti fell around him. "I'm LeBron James, from Akron, Ohio, from the inner city. I'm not even supposed to be here. That's enough. Every night I walk into the locker room, I see a No. 6 with James on the back. I'm blessed. So what everybody says about me off the court, don't matter. I ain't got no worries."

James made five 3-pointers, defended Tony Parker when he had to, and did everything else that could be expected from the best player in the game.

Dwyane Wade scored 23 points and won his third NBA title.

"It took everything we had as a team," Wade said. "Credit to the San Antonio Spurs, they're an unbelievable team, an unbelievable franchise. This is the hardest series we ever had to play. But we're a resilient team and we did whatever it took."

Now with two titles under their belt as a team, there's plenty of speculation to whether the Heat will be able to repeat a title with a third consecutive title and become a dynasty team.

The road to becoming a dynasty team will prove to be difficult for the Heat next season as the Chicago Bulls and Indiana Pacers look to get healthy and make a strong challenge for the Heat.
