Aaron Hernandez was not prepared to be arrested by police when they arrived at his home on Wednesday morning, as he was shirtless and in shorts when he received a knock on the door and when police arrived they handcuffed him and brought him into custody.
As found by Deadspin, Hernandez looked slightly angry that the police were there and realized what was going on at that exact moment. The case involves the former New England Patriots tight end and his connection with the murder of Odin Lloyd and now Hernandez is facing charges. The team felt it was necessary to release him after the arrest despite having just given him a new contract extension and now he faces serious charges.
Hernandez might be facing obstruction of justice after destroying his cell phone and security system at home and after he got a cleaning crew to his home police searched it and also took evidence from the home. The body of Lloyd was found a mile from his home and he was reportedly with Lloyd hours before the murder and it was seen on video.
