Aaron Hernandez is in jail and is appealing his denial of bail on court, hoping to get out of lockup to help clear his name in his case and lawyers are arguing both sides currently.
Hernandez was denied bail in the case originally and his lawyer argued that some of his injuries form football will be hampered if he is locked up. The defense said that he could meet easier and prepare his case and now he is arguing that he should be allowed out of jail.
Local news station Fox 25 has been following the case and while he was not accused of specifically pulling the trigger, details showed that he had some personal issues with Odin Lloyd that stemmed from a club incident and he orchestrated the execution. Lloyd was shot three times before he went down and then two more bullets were pumped into the body and there is surveillance footage of Hernandez the night of the murder.
Details came out that Hernandez said he no longer trusted Lloyd and that there is multiple instances of video and text message evidence about it, although the defense said it was circumstantial. Bail was denied and a gag order was put in place.
