Following an amazing comeback in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup finals, the Chicago Blackhawks are Stanley Cup champions for the second time in a four season span and the team will be celebrating their championship on Friday with a parade through the city that mayor said would be just like the scene from the classic film Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

The parade will be streamed online by WGN and will feature the championship parade as well as the rally following the parade in Grant Park. The championship parade will start in downtown Chicago at 10:30 AM after the team leaves the United Center and will move to Washington and Des Plaines and move down on Washington until the parade reaches the park. The rally at Grant Park will take place at Hutchinson Field and will begin at 11 AM and should last for about 45 minutes after it begins.

City officials announced the lineup for the parade and after getting two million last time around when the Blackhawks won the Cup, officials have put in place plenty of security and logistical plans to keep everything in order. People will not be permitted to bring things into the rally, including large packs, backpacks, alcohol or coolers and police officials said that people who are caught drinking will be arrested, as they want to keep things family friendly.

The police will have dogs and other precautions, including clothed and plain clothed officers as well as barriers for the parade, which people jumped over last time around and if they do that again, people will be arrested said police officials. The traffic in the city will be very heavy and some road closures will be done as well in the area of the parade. The parade the last time around was a point of pride for the city and the weather is expected to be very warm on Friday.

The Blackhawks won Game 6 after another fantastic game from Corey Crawford, who had 23 saves in the game, while captain Jonathan Toews scored his third goal of the playoffs and the second of the series. The team won 3-2 after an amazing third period comeback that saw the team score two goals in a quick span and now they are champions while the Boston Bruins can only wonder what might have been if they forced a Game matchup. The stream will be online for the parade, while TV coverage will be seen locally and there will also be large screens at the rally for people to see what is going on at the front with the team and some players that will be the most notable include Toews, Stanley Cup MVP Patrick Kane as well as Marian Hossa and Crawford.
