Jeremy Lin Wishes to Return for Playoffs in Four Weeks

Jeremy Lin had a successful meniscus repaired surgery on his left knee on Monday.Regarding his recovery, experts say the New York Knicks' point guard will be back in two to four weeks at best.

Meanwhile, Lin himself will try to return sooner than previously expected.

Lin, who has never appeared in a postseason game, told HOOPSWORLD that he doesn't want to miss the Knicks' first-round playoff series and he'll try to return in four weeks.

When an MRI first diagnosed Lin's injury, many reports indicated that he would be out for at least six weeks. That meant he would miss the rest of the regular season and likely the first round of the postseason, which will begin on April 28.

"I hope I'll be back for the playoffs," Lin said during a Facebook Q&A with fans. "It's killing me to watch the team without being able to play, but I need to make sure my knee is 100 percent before I get back on the court, so we will wait and see."
