Li Na and Agnieszka Radwanska face off at 8 a.m. ET/1 p.m. GMT at Wimbledon in the Women's Singles quarterfinals. It won't be the first time the two meet in a grand slam quarterfinal and for Radwanska, she will be looking to avoid recent history. Na and Radwanska met earlier in the year at the Australian Open. Na was the winner in that meeting as she beat Radwanska in straight sets 6-3, 7-5. The win improved Na's edge against Radwanska to 6-4 in 10 matches. However, things don't look as grim for Radwanska as they've split games this year, 1-1. Also tied 1-1 is the head-to-head record between the two at Wimbledon. Radwanska won at 2010 Wimbledon, while Na followed up the next year with a victory over Radwanska.
Ironically, Na defeated Radwanska to make her quarterfinals appearance at Wimbledon in 2010, one of her three successful runs at the All English Club. Na is a former Australian Open winner and one of the only players remaining in the tournament who has won a major title.
Radwanska will look to build on her 2012 Wimbledon performance. In order for this to be accomplished, Radwanska will have to win it all as she was defeated by Serena Williams in the Women's Singles finals in 2012. The good news is that her biggest obstacle, Williams, is no longer around in this year's tournament. However, she can't take Na lightly as the Chinese player is one of the better competitors remaining in the tournament.
