Real Madrid Transfer Latest: Gareth Bale's Agent Hints at Real Move as Kaka Insists He Wants to Stay at the Bernabeu

Gareth Bale's agent has again hinted at a possible move to Real Madrid from Tottenham, saying the Welsh international has not decided on his future as yet.

Real have made Bale their number one target for the summer and are willing to play over the odds to land the 23-year-old, who had a stellar season with Spurs last campaign.

Bale's representative Jonathan Barnett said the two clubs need to talk amongst themselves before the player can decide on a move.

"Bale has not said no, nor yes," he told 'Futboleros' on Marca TV. "There's no offer from Madrid, they (the clubs) have to talk between themselves and we will see what happens.

"He was at Malaga airport (on Tuesday), he's been in Marbella on holiday. He comes back to Tottenham for preseason training next week."

The Bale to Real Madrid saga kicked into overdrive when the Spanish media latched onto an interview given by Bale to Esquire where he says he rates the La Liga very highly.

"I probably prefer Spanish football to the others," he said. "It's very technical the way they play, they keep the ball well and whenever Spurs have played against Spanish teams in the past they've always made it difficult for us. Obviously, I'd like to try other leagues in the future."

However, Barnett said those comments cannot be given too much weight as the interview was done months ago.

"The interview with Esquire was three months ago," he added. "I don't know what he said."

Meanwhile, Kaka has reiterated his desire to remain at Real Madrid and see out the rest of his contract with the club.

Kaka has had a bit of a nightmare ever since making his move to Real, with injuries and lack of form seeing him hardly feature in the last couple of seasons.

That has led to suggestions the Brazil great could leave the Spanish side in the summer, with clubs from Brazil reportedly showing an interest.

However, Kaka insisted he sees his immediate future with Real, especially with Carlo Ancelotti, who managed him at AC Milan, now at the helm.

"I intend to stay at Real Madrid," the 31-year-old said.

"I am still under contract with Real Madrid. There's a new manager and once he gets to work, we'll sit down and exchange ideas."
