It's Novak Djokovic (1) faces Andy Murray ((2) for the 2013 Wimbledon Men's Singles final. If you can't watch the game, check out the live blog with play-by-play and stats as only one player can walk out champion. Will Murray finally make history?
Murray has the weight of a nation on his shoulders. While winning Wimbledon for Djokovic will simply mean another grand slam title, for Murray, he will be able to please an entire nation as Great Britain will look to finally have a winner of the Wimbledon tournament.
He was close last year as Murray made the finals, but he finished as the runner-up to Roger Federer. The pressure is real this year because it's the best chance for the Scot to win the title. There is no Federer and Rafael Nadal was also bounced. Without a doubt, this could be Murray's best chance to win the title.
However, he faces Djokovic, who is not only the No. 1 seed, but he's the best in the world. Djokovic owns their head-to-head series with an 11-7 record, winning the last three matches against Murray. Djokovic is also 3-1 when playing Murray in a grand slam final, having won the Australian Open twice, the most recent coming in 2013.
If there's any hope for Murray it's that he beat Djokovic in the semifinals of the 2012 London Olympics at the All English Club and he beat Djokovic in the 2012 U.S. Open to capture his first grand slam title.
Join us for this live blog as we could witness a historic moment in tennis. Despite all the eliminations witness of superstar players in both Women and Men's Singles, Murray vs. Djokovic could draw huge numbers, making this the most watched event of the year to date.
