The Los Angeles Lakers are looking at a new plan of attack at free agency after the whiner Dwight Howard decided to leave one of the most stories franchises in sports for one that hasn't won a division title in a decade, so now the team is looking at center Chris Kaman as a possible replacement.
According to Yahoo Sports, Kaman is interested in joining the Lakers as well since he has played in the city for the Clippers over his first eight seasons. Other teams that are interested in him include the nicks, Golden State Warriors, Atlanta Hawks and Sacramento Kings and as a 7-footer he will be in high demand.
Kaman is a solid defensive player and averaged 10.5 points and 5.6 rebounds in 20 minutes a game for the Mavericks last season. The Lakers ranked 22nd in points allowed and 17th in assists per game.
