It would appear that wedding season is truly upon as a couple young NFL quarterbacks tied the knot over the weekend to their significant other.
Philadelphia Eagles rookie QB Matt Barkely has gotten into the wedding spirit after marrying is longtime girlfriend Brittany Langdon in Newport Beach on Satruday.
"Wedding Day! Beyond blessed, thankful and excited to marry the girl of my dreams and my best friend. Praise the Lord!" the 22-year-old USC grad tweeted.
Langdon graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 2012.
Washington Redskins' Robert Griffin III also tied the knot with his college sweetheart Rebecca Liddicoat in what Griffin described as the "Big Day" on his Twitter account.
Griffin just completed his first year with the Redskins after being drafted second overall out of Baylor University. Under his leadership under center, Griffin lead the Redskins from a dismal 5-11 record in the year prior to his arrival, to finish in first place in the NFC East division with a 10-6 record.
He also went on the be named the 2012 Offensive Rookie Player of the Year.
Griffin and his new bride recently released a new rap video yesterday on his official Facebook page with the message, "Check out the first official video release of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Griffin III," which caused it to go viral.
