The surviving Boston Bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev will be in court on Wednesday to answer to 30 charges he was indicted for last month and numerous survivors of the tragedy will be on hand to see it as well as he is brought from F.M.C. Devens.
Dzhokhar and his brother, Tamerlan, are considered the planners of the attack and many family members are anxious to hear why it happened and how things will play out in court on Wednesday when he answers the charges. Tamerlan was killed in a shootout by police, while his brother was caught and arrested after a long manhunt and he could be facing the death penalty later on for the crime.
300 people were injured in the incident and four people were killed and numerous victims lost limbs and were seriously hurt. Tsarnaev is also accused of killing an MIT police officer and he was captured after a bloody shootout after hiding out in a boat when a Watertown homeowner noticed blood on it in his dry dock and police found him inside. The number of victims expected to attend is now known and so far the authorities have said the motivation was for the war in Iraq and other US military campaigns.
Tsarnaev was an athlete and was well-liked by his friends and it was a shock for many to see him involved in the bombing. Martin Richard, 8, Krystle Marie Campbell, 29, and Lingzi Lu, 23 were killed by the attack, which was made from pressure cookers and stunned everyone at the marathon. The manhunt turned Boston into a ghost town and now victims will get some type of peace as they see the hearing today.
