Tim Tebow is an extremely popular figure despite the fact that many don't see him as an NFL quarterback now that he is with the Patriots, he is getting the full treatment once again, as a trading card has already been made featuring the former Florida Gators star.

According to The Boston Herald, Tebow is already featured on a trading card for the team that will come out this summer and just like his jersey sales, the item could be a very popular one. The number five jersey of Tebow is already a big seller and now he has a card and it popped up soon after he signed with the team last month. After the Patriots signed Tebow, many felt that he would be the dominating story for the Patriots all summer, but that quickly changed when Aaron Hernandez was arrested and charged with murder.

Hernandez was released by the team and with Rob Gronkowski coming off of multiple surgeries, including to his arm and back, Bill Belichick and the Patriots will need Jake Ballard and Daniel Fells to step up in training camp this summer. The team used two tight end sets a great deal to excellent success and now all that is in question after Hernandez was arrested for murder. Tebow and Hernandez were teammates while playing at Florida and after the arrest, numerous reports about bad behavior in Gainesville came to light.

One incident included a bar fight the started over an unpaid tab and reports said that Tebow was one of the players there who tried to help Hernandez that night. More reports came out that Tebow and head coach Urban Meyer tried to look out for the tight end, but clearly that didn't go so well later on. The Patriots knew that Hernandez had some character issues, but they never could have prepared for what happened with him getting arrested for the murder of Odin Lloyd. The body was found less than a mile from Hernandez's home and now he faces life in prison as he waits for trial in the shooting. One accomplice has fingered him as the shooter, while the defense calls the evidence circumstantial.

The Boston Herald reports that the cards will be sold throughout the nation in August for $2.99 per pack. Panini marketing VP Jason Howarth told the newspaper that Tebow is a popular player and due to that level of interest, he is perfect for a trading card especially when moving to a new team. The company said that the card will make his fans happy and that is will be available in the summer.
