After finishing fourth in 2012-2013, the Clippers were bounced from the first round of the NBA Playoffs by the tough Memphis Grizzlies. The Knicks advanced to the second round of the playoffs, but went through a disappointing stretch in the playoffs overall. Against the Indiana Pacers, they had no answers on offense and they were completely bullied.
Many considered 2012-2013 as the best opportunity for the Knicks to win a championship. Teams in the East are only getting stronger and teams like the Chicago Bulls and the very same Pacers will only return tougher and healthier in 2013-2014.
