The MLB trade deadline is coming and two players that definitely won't be moved include Yasiel Puig and Jason Heyward and on Monday night they showed exactly why, making two fantastic grabs in their games to help the Dodgers and Braves win.
Puig snagged the ball at the wall over his shoulder and crashed into the wall to make the catch on J.P. Arencibia, easily robbing him of a double and he made a huge throw back to the infield to keep Colby Rasmus at first base. Puig has been amazing at the plate this season a sa rookie and he showed why his glove is up to snuff as well.
Heyward had an amazing diving catch of his own, as it preserved a win as the Mets were challeneging down 2-1 in the bottom of the ninth with two outs and two men on. The hit by Justin Turner made its way into the outfield and Heyward made a great diving catch to keep both Andrew Brown and Omar Quintanilla from having any chance at scoring, as if he missed, it may have been a tie game or even a loss.
