With the upcoming NBA season soon approaching, fans would want to know when the marquee games of the season will be. The same would be said for fans of the Los Angeles Lakers, especially with all that occurred during the offseason.
The Lakers will open their season against their locker rivals the Los Angeles Clippers, with the Clippers looking to defend their Pacific Division crown for the first time in franchise history.
The most anticipated games don't occur until shortly after the season opener.
The Lakers will get their first look at Dwight Howard and his new squad, the Houston Rockets, on November 7th. This will be their first meeting since Howard left Lakers during free agency this offseason. If things continue to go as scheduled, the Lakers Kobe Bryant should be back in action by this game as well.
Another game that should be marked down is the Christmas Day matchup against the defending champion Miami Heat.
Both the Lakers and Heat are no strangers to a Christmas game, as it's somewhat has become a holiday tradition to see both teams in action. The Lakers will host this matchup and once again excitement will be focused around the two polarizing stars, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James.
The full NBA schedule has yet to be released in its entirety, but make sure you look out for your favorite teams and their key matchups as this season is looking to be an exciting one with all new faces in new places.
