Minnesota Vikings Rumors: Greg Jennings Rips Aaron Rodgers as Bad Teammate, Calls Green Bay Packers 'Cookie-Cutter' as Success Priority

Well, it appears Greg Jennings has moved on from the Green Bay Packers. As the veteran wide receiver prepares for his first season with the Minnesota Vikings, he appears to be more concerned with bashing on his old one. While doing several interviews heading into training camp, Jennings had choice words about the Packers and his former quarterback.

While Rodgers is busy saying how much he misses having Jennings on the field with him, it appears the veteran wide receiver might not feel the same way. While interviewing with the Minnesota Star Tribune, Jennings threw some shade Rodgers way.

"A lot of times when you have a guy who creates that spotlight for himself and establishes that and takes a lot of that, it becomes so-and-so and the team. It should always be the team," Jennings said. "For me, I'm such a team person, I'm going to defer to my teammates. I'm going to defer to the team, to the team, to the team. And I think when you reach a point where you're not deferring any longer, it's no longer really about the team."

Possibly realizing what he had just said, Jennings made sure to clarify that Rodgers is a great person. However, he does continue on to say that while the media continues to tell the players that they are perfect, they stop seeing their flaws.

"Maybe I need to go back to my college days where the quarterback wasn't just viewed as oh-so-great and still proved that I can be successful," Jennings said.

Rodgers is not the only one taking heat from Jennings. When discussing the differences between the two rival teams, Jennings said the Vikings allow him to be himself more often with a set structure. He referred to Green Bay being more of a free-for-all.

"It's not a free-for all. There's structure," Jennings said. "But there's liberty. You can breathe. It's like, 'OK, I can do my thing.' You know what you need to do, you get it done. Whereas in Green Bay, everything was more cookie-cutter....It's just different. In a good way."

While Jennings might not be sending any love to Wisconsin, he is eager to repeat the success he had with Green Bay now in Minnesota. Jennings played a key role in the Packers passing attack and is expected to do the same with the Vikings and quarterback Christian Ponder.

"Whatever walk of life you're in, your goal should always be to stalk some kind of success. So you have to ask yourself daily, 'What are you doing to truly be successful?' Because everyone has it in them."
